From proposal to installation, it took about 4 months. Their installation team was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about state and local regulations and requirements. SolarMe was a great company to work with from beginning to end and I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Brian Poppen. He was a true professional and subject matter expert from everything including the panels, financing, construction/permit process, and Renewable Energy Credits. SolarMe wasn’t the lowest offer we received initially, but they were trustworthy and did not include any hidden fees in their quote while others attempted to mislead us on additional cost factors. SolarMe ended up being the lowest price and best value decision. Further, they did a fantastic job with the installation, construction paperwork, and setting up our system for Energy Credits. I would highly recommend SolarMe to anyone considering a solar system install!!

SolarMe did a great job in my solar install. The entire project started as planned, a project manager kept me posted on the progress -what gets done when. The crew who came to install were very courteous, thorough gentleman and very friendly. They even obliged to fix a small leak on the roof which was not caused by them. The work was completed as planned and in less than 3 months the solar plant started. They take special care of their customers. Its not like other companies where the sales guy does the sale and then he never picks up the phone. These guys were available on phone/ text and replied promptly. highly recommended from my side.
When shopping for solar, I requested quotes from multiple companies. SolarMe wasn't the cheapest, but I could tell that they were using higher-quality products and installation methods. The design was very well planned, explained, and laid-out for my property. The installation went very smoothly, and has been operational for well over a year now without any issues. The Solar Me experience from sales, installation to support has been excellent. I did a ton of research during my Solar search, as there is a lot to learn during the process, and the Solar Me team provided me with answers to my questions as well as the information I requested in a timely fashion. Solar Me installed a solar array on my property about a year ago. I couldn't be happier with it! With the Federal and NJ credit programs, right now is a great time to switch to solar....these won't last forever. The Solar Me team has a fantastic customer service reputation and they deliver! I now have a new beautiful roof, quality panel and no electric bill! Check them out for a no pressure estimate and don't worry about too many trees. They will help you with those too.
Solar Me walked us through the whole process! It was a great experience. Everyone was professional! Any questions asked were answered very quickly. Now we are saving hundreds a month on our energy bill and getting money back from selling the energy too!!
One year in with solar and SolarMe... I received a call from SolarMe a couple weeks ago saying that there's an issue with one of my inverters. I checked the app and it was completely offline - meaning half of my panels weren't able to convert solar energy into electrical energy. I probably wouldn't have noticed for a while since I don't check the app as frequently as when the system was first installed. It was great to know that SolarMe was looking at my data and identified the problem. It took about a business day to get someone out to diagnose the actual problem (bad inverter board) and then repair it a few days later. SolarMe is the real deal. Support this local NJ business. You'll be happy you did!"

From Start to finish, the design and installation was seamless. I researched several different companies before committing with Solar Me. The cost to do the install was actually less than the other estimates I received, but the deciding factor for me was the intelligence and integrity of the team I dealt with. I would have paid more to have a better experience, but fortunately I did not have to. My electricity bills have disappeared and I am making SREC income monthly. All this was also handled by Solar Me! I didn’t need to do a thing.
SolarMe was great - knowledgeable, consultative, and were very up-front about the costs and risks. Easy to reach for follow-up service and questions. We definitely felt more taken care of than the larger solar companies we considered. Make sure you understand that getting the system activated with the utility company often takes longer than you think, and that's a bottleneck in getting net metering so you get credit for power you push into the grid. There may be a while where you're producing extra electricity and giving it away for free, essentially. Great experience, would recommend.

Believe all the 5 star reviews! They are real. SolarMe just finished up my project. I had been looking at solar for many years and a friend told me about SolarMe and said look no further. I reached out and Brian from SolarMe came over and spent extremely generous amounts of his time both at my home and on the phone as well as email answering my many questions. He continues to answer any questions I have post install as we finalize PTO and SREC setup. He's fantastic. I contracted SolarMe to not only install Solar but also my new roof as my old one was over 20 years old and would not survive the life of the panels and required replacement. The roofing contractor was top notch. I'd recommend without hesitation to anyone. The installation crews were the most friendly, hard working and knowledgeable workers. I was thoroughly impressed. They did a great job on the panel mounts and all the electrical work required inside the home as well. I ended up choosing Canadian Solar all black panels which look really nice and sleek. SolarMe is a company with a a great team from sales, to installers to the back office and owner. I could not be happier with my selection. They delivered on everything for this project in a timely fashion as well. Let them bid on your project and you will thank me later.
Solar Me is a world class company. I got estimates from 5 solar companies, but I felt more comfortable with Solar Me. They were detailed oriented from the beginning all the way to the completion of the project. Their rep guided me every step of the way from the required approvals, permits until I setup my SREC account. Don’t waste your time looking for other companies, they will provide you with the best system for the best price.
There isn't a negative review out there for this company and the reason is that that they are a delight to work with. Everyone we had contact with, from the top down, was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and great at their jobs. We are having a blast watching the meter spin backwards, even when it's overcast and the A/C unit is cranking away! Update: We just got our first electric bill since the new meter was installed. It was $2.78, the same month last year we paid $115.00! This was the easiest and best home improvement we've done. Now, we're looking forward to receiving our SREC deposits in our bank account. Couldn't be happier!
I was considering solar since last year and based on my research decided that I wanted Panasonic panels. I found multiple authorized Panasonic installers from their website and contacted at least three. I narrowed it down to Solar Me after meeting with Bill who was a pleasure to work with. They were the best priced out there and also included consumption monitoring and a revenue grade meter unlike some of the competitors. The team was easy to work with and are very knowledgeable. Then install went great without a problem and has been in for 5 mos. I am generating a little bit more than what was estimated so far and have not paid for electricity the last three months.
The experience with Solar Me was better then I expected. The salesman Brian was very forthcoming with information and always available for questions. They are highly recommended by me.
It's been about a year and a half since I purchased my solar system from Solar Me and everything I was told was spot on. I received my full 30% federal tax credit, my SREC's are exactly as they were estimated and my system works perfectly. I haven't had an electric bill since I went on line. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend using Solar Me if you are thinking about getting a solar system.
Solar Me is great to work with. They helped me fix my first solar install by another company and added the correct amount of solar panels to produce the energy I should have produced to begin with. I worked with Brian P, he was very open and honest with me and they handled everything.

SolarMe is my THIRD solar company. I am practiced at choosing residential installers. I highly recommend you get a quote from Bill at SolarMe. Ask people who recommend a company if there's compensation for their referral. Most companies offer ""Referral"" packages in order to get goods reviews. I do not accept a ""kickback"" for my recommendation of SolarMe They are simply the best choice after hiring 2 other companies. What's important over the LONG term is for your panels to be efficiently operational. You want your installer to maintain your system. A monitoring system is not worthwhile if the company does not address a malfunctioning panel.Solar Me provides EXCELLENT post-purchase support. They know what they're doing. They show up on time. They are accommodating to your schedule. I am so impressed with everyone I've worked with at SolarMe. The financing program is also critical to understand. My recommendation is to purchase a system outright if at all possible as lease programs seem sketchy. Good luck! CDW"

From the first visit, where the Solar Me representative patiently explained the basic concepts about Solar Energy, answered all of my questions, and scheduled a free roofing and panel placement assessment, to the set-up of my Srec account, this company has been professional, has followed up with me within 24 hours for all questions, emails, and requests. The installation was started and completed within the scheduled time. The installers were polite and professional. It was refreshing to work with a local company. I had several phone conversations with the Company owner as well, contributing to a strong personal commitment to my Solar Installation. I used solar me for my solar installation. They were the only company from which I was in contact with that assured me my home would be a great fit for solar. Solar Me delivered on their promise. Other companies told me my home was not a good fit as surrounding trees may impact my production. Solar me was the only company that had their team survey my property and made calculated decision on which trees will need to be removed for optimal production. They took care of finding the best priced tree removal company. I did not have to be home for any of the things leading up to the panel install. The team at solar me is very professional. They gave me a detailed outline of the project timeline. They completed the project within the time they promised. I was extremely happy with their installation team. They were very professional and gave me a detailed tour of what the install process will be and explained everything they will be doing to me. My main concern was ensuring the wiring was clean and not noticeable outside of my home. Solar me team took their time running all wires and nothing is visible from the outside of the house besides the meters.
Solar Me gave me a quote a few years back and I called them again when we were ready to install to re-quote us. I called them back because of all the companies that came out before they spent the most time explaining our solar options and did not pressure us to sign an agreement that night. I called them an they were happy to re-quote us and answered all of our questions. I will refer them to any who ask be about my solar. Great service from sales, installers and office team.

Everyone -- from the initial salesperson who came to our house, to the project manager and the actual installers -- was a pleasure to work with. They were professional, courteous, CLEAN and respectful. They gave us an approximate start date, called the day before to confirm, and, once they started the job, came every day until it was finished. They handled all the permits and inspections. We didn't have to worry about a thing! They even had recommendations for roofers since we needed one before the panels could be put on. I highly recommend SolarME if you're planning to install a "solar system" at your home.
My entire experience with Solar ME USA was amazing! They are flawless when it comes to taking on a project and running it from start to finish, and go well above and beyond! From my first contact with Peter Dunne (a pro you can have a normal conversation with, not feel like you're being pushed to buy, who answered every question/email/phone call within minutes, and who really gives you confidence he knows what he's talking about), through all the inspections, contracts, and paperwork, Solar Me reps were always there, always professional, thorough and responsive. Peter and his designers took all my requests into consideration, and made sure I was happy with the size of the system and the layout of my panels (working extra hard to make sure we liked what we'd get). Their installer crew was fast, professional, clean and did a really nice job with my panels and all equipment in the garage. While the certifications and township inspections took a while, at the end of it all, I had my system up and running well before the estimated due date. After the system was up and running, Solar Me continued to provide amazing service, making sure my SREC market place registration went through, and even reaching out to me at tax time to provide all the necessary forms to get my rebate. Most of my neighbors who got solar systems went with the big companies out there, who set them up with inferior equipment, took their time, missed deadlines and made them wait way longer than I did for their systems. I dealt with their salesmen, who seemed all too eager to get my signature on the first quote they gave me. So, I'm very happy I went with a smaller, more focused company like Solar Me. You won't be disappointed if you go with them, believe me!!"
Purchased solar panels for my home from the about a year ago. Everything still works perfectly and I've reduced my monthly electric bill as predicted. They did everything right and a little bit more. Whenever I had questions, even how to check my SECT Trades, they helped. Oh they set everything up for me for the SECT Trades. They managed all the work, new roof, tree trimming, installation, loan, follow up etc. very effectively and to my complete satisfaction. So, I'd recommend them, for sure.
